- Led training, qualification, operational-readiness, navigation-support, safety, and workforce-development responsibilities during the precommissioning and initial sea-trial phases of the Navy’s newest aircraft carrier.
Selected Impact:
• Managed more than 550 PQS assignments and supported more than 400 personnel qualifications, strengthening departmental readiness across critical training requirements.
• Served as Shipping Officer during Bridge Resource Management, Radar Navigation, Crew Certification III, graded Sea and Anchor details, precision anchorages, and the ship’s first Builder’s Sea Trials.
• Developed and delivered operational training while supporting department-level safety, equal-opportunity, and apprenticeship-development programs.
